حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ يَعِيشَ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ قَالَتْ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَذَكَرَ سِدْرَةَ الْمُنْتَهَى فَقَالَ «يَسْتَظِلُّ فِي ظِلِّ الْفَنَنِ مِنْهَا مِائَةَ رَاكِبٍ» أَوْ قَالَ «وَيَسِيرُ فِي ظِلِّ الْفَنَنِ مِنْهَا مِائَةُ رَاكِبٍ فِيهَا فِرَاشُ الذَّهَبِ كَأَنَّ ثَمَرَهَا الْقِلَالُ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ mention the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary and say: "A hundred riders can shade themselves in the shade of one of its branches"—or he said: "And a hundred riders can travel in the shade of one of its branches. In it are couches of gold, and its fruits are like large jars."
