✧ From al-Haytham or Abu al-Haytham — Abu Bakr was unsure — that the Prophet ﷺ divorced Sawdah once. She sat in his path, and when he passed by she asked him to take her back and to give her allotted share of him to whichever of his wives he wished, hoping to be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection as his wife. So he took her back and accepted that.
