حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ وَهْبِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ الْبَكَّائِيُّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ الْأَصَمِّ قَالَ
«رَأَيْتُ أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ مَيْمُونَةَ تَحْلِقُ رَأْسَهَا بَعْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ» فَقُلْتُ لِيَزِيدَ بْنِ الْأَصَمِّ قَالَ «أَرَاهَا تَتَبَذَّلُ»

✧ “I saw the Mother of the Believers Maymunah shaving her head after the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.” I said to Yazid b. al-Asamm: He said: “I think she was letting herself go.”
