حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ شَاهِينٍ ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ ثنا أَبُو بِلَالٍ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ قَالُوا ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

مَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُفَضِّلُ بَعْضَنَا عَلَى بَعْضٍ فِي الْقَسْمِ وَكَانَ قَلَّ يَوْمٌ إِلَّا وَهُوَ يُطِيفُ بِنَا وَيَدْنُو مِنْ كُلِّ امْرَأَةٍ مِنَّا مِنْ غَيْرِ مَسِيسٍ حَتَّى يَنْتَهِيَ إِلَى الَّتِي هُوَ يَوْمُهَا فَيَبِيتُ عِنْدَهَا فَلَقَدْ قَالَتْ لَهُ سَوْدَةُ بِنْتُ زَمْعَةَ وَكَانَتْ قَدْ يَئِسَتْ فَأَرَادَ أَنْ يُفَارِقَهَا فَقَالَتْ يَوْمِي مِنْكَ وَنَصِيبِي لِعَائِشَةَ فَقَبِلَ ذَلِكَ مِنْهَا فَفِيهَا نَزَلَتْ {وَإِنِ امْرَأَةٌ خَافَتْ مِنْ بَعْلِهَا نُشُوزًا أَوْ إِعْرَاضًا فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِمَا أَنْ يُصْلِحَا بَيْنَهُمَا صُلْحًا}

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not favor some of us over others in the division [of nights]. Rarely did a day pass except that he visited us and drew near each woman among us without intercourse, until he reached the one whose day it was and spent the night with her. Sawda bt. Zam'a said to him, and she had become old, and he intended to separate from her: "My day with you and my share are for 'A'isha." He accepted that from her. About her it was revealed: {And if a woman fears from her husband ill-treatment or aversion, there is no sin upon them both if they make terms of peace between them} (Qur'an 4:128).
