حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ حَدَّثَنِي مَنْبُوذٌ الْمَكِّيُّ عَنْ أُمِّهِ قَالَتْ كُنْتُ عِنْدَ مَيْمُونَةَ فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ فَقَالَتْ
أَيْ بُنَيَّ مَا لِي أَرَاكَ شَعِثًا رَأْسُكَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ مُرَجِّلَتِي أُمَّ عَمَّارٍ حَائِضٌ فَقَالَتْ أَيْ بُنَيَّ وَأَيْنَ الْحَيْضَةُ مِنَ الْيَدِ إِنْ «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَيَضَعُ رَأْسَهُ فِي حِجْرِ إِحْدَانَا وَهِيَ حائِضٌ فَيُصَلِّي عَلَيْهَا»

✧ "O my dear son, why do I see your head disheveled?" He said: "My hairdresser, Umm 'Ammar, is menstruating." She said: "O my dear son, what does menstruation have to do with the hand? Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to place his head in the lap of one of us while she was menstruating, and he would pray upon her."
