حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي الطَّاهِرِ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ قَالَا ثنا اللَّيْثُ حَدَّثَنِي جَعْفَرُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ هُرْمُزَ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتَ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ عَنْ أُمِّهَا أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً مِنْ أَسْلَمَ يُقَالُ لَهَا سُبَيْعَةُ كَانَتْ تَحْتَ §زَوْجِهَا فَتُوُفِّيَ عَنْهَا وَهِيَ حُبْلَى فَخَطَبَهَا أَبُو السَّنَابِلِ بْنُ بَعْكَكٍ فَأَبَتْ أَنْ تَنْكِحَهُ فَقَالَ مَا يَصْلُحُ
أَنْ تَنْكِحِي حَتَّى تَعْتَدِّي آخِرَ الْأَجَلَيْنِ فَمَكَثَتْ مِنْ عِشْرِينَ لَيْلَةً ثُمَّ نُفِسَتْ فَجَاءَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «انْكِحِي» وَكَانَتْ فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ قَيْسٍ تُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ حِينَ طُلِّقَتِ الْبَتَّةَ أَنَّهُ أَمَرَهَا أَنْ تَنْتَقِلَ إِلَى ابْنِ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ فَإِنَّهُ أَعْمَى تَضَعُ عِنْدَهُ ثِيَابَهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ تَنْقَضِيَ عِدَّتُهَا وَكَانَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ إِذَا ذَكَرَتْ مِنْ ذَلِكَ شَيْئًا رَمَاهَا أُسَامَةُ بِمَا كَانَ فِي يَدِهِ

✧ that you should marry until you complete the waiting period, the longer of the two terms. She remained for twenty nights, then she gave birth. So she came to the Messenger of God ﷺ and he said, "Marry." And Fatimah bint Qays used to narrate from the Messenger of God ﷺ when she was given an irrevocable divorce that he commanded her to move to Ibn Umm Maktum, for he is blind, and she could set down her garments in his presence before her waiting period ended. And Muhammad b. Usamah b. Zayd used to narrate that whenever she mentioned anything of that, Usamah threw at her whatever was in his hand.
