حَدَّثَنَا مُصْعَبٌ ثنا أَبِي ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ نَشِيطٍ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ مَوْلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ
أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ انْصَرَفَ إِلَى بَيْتِهَا فَصَلَّى فِيهِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ فَأَرْسَلَتْ عَائِشَةُ إِلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ مَا هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةُ الَّتِي صَلَّاهَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فِي بَيْتِكِ فَقَالَتْ إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ «يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فَقَدِمَ عَلَيْهِ وَفْدُ بَنِي الْمُصْطَلِقِ فِي شَأْنِ مَا صَنَعَ بِهِمْ عَامِلُهُمُ الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ فَلَمْ يَزَالُوا يَعْتَذِرُونَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ حَتَّى جَاءَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ يَدْعُوهُ إِلَى صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ فَصَلَّى الْمَكْتُوبَةَ ثُمَّ صَلَّى عِنْدِي فِي بَيْتِي تِلْكَ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ مَا صَلَّاهُمَا قَبْلُ وَلَا بَعْدُ»

✧ The Prophet of God ﷺ went to her house and prayed two rak'ahs in it after 'Asr. 'A'ishah sent to Umm Salamah, “What is this prayer that the Prophet ﷺ prayed in your house?” She said, “The Prophet ﷺ used to pray two rak'ahs after Zuhr. The delegation of Banu al-Mustaliq came to him concerning what their governor al-Walid b. 'Uqbah had done to them. They kept making excuses to the Prophet ﷺ until the mu'adhdhin came to call him to 'Asr prayer. He prayed the obligatory prayer, then prayed those two rak'ahs with me in my house, which he did not pray before or after.”
