حَدَّثَنَا الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ غُرَابٍ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ قَيْسٍ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ عَنْ عِيَاضٍ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ جَعْوَنَةَ
سَمِعْتُ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ تَقُولُ «عَلِيٌّ عَلَى الْحَقِّ فَمَنِ اتَّبَعَهُ اتَّبَعَ الْحَقَّ وَمَنْ تَرَكَهُ تَرَكَ الْحَقَّ عَهْدٌ مَعْهُودٌ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ»
