حَدَّثَنَا أَسْلَمُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ وَعَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ قَالَا ثنا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْأَعْرَجُ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَسْبَاطٍ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ عَنْ بِلَالِ بْنِ مِرْدَاسٍ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ
دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَتَتْهُ فَاطِمَةُ بِخَرِيزَةٍ فَوَضَعَتْهُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ فَقَالَ لِي «ادْعِ لِي زَوْجُكِ وَابْنَيْكِ» فَدَعَوْتُهُمْ فَطَعِمُوا وَتَحْتَهُمْ كِسَاءٌ خَيْبَرِيٌّ فَجَمَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْكِسَاءَ عَلَيْهِمْ ثُمَّ قَالَ «هَؤُلَاءِ أَهْلُ بَيْتِي وَحَامَتِي فَأَذْهِبْ عَنْهُمُ الرِّجْسَ وَطَهِّرْهُمْ تَطْهِيرًا»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon me, and Fatimah came to him with a dish. He put it in front of him and said to me, "Pray for your husband and your sons." So I prayed for them and they ate, and underneath them was a Khaibari blanket. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gathered the blanket around them and said, "These are the people of my household, so remove impurity from them and purify them thoroughly."
