حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَحْيَى الدَّارِيُّ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا سَهْلُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ قَالَا ثنا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ زَمْعَةَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زَمْعَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ
خَرَجَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فِي تِجَارَةٍ إِلَى بُصْرَى قَبْلَ مَوْتِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِعَامٍ وَمَعَهُ نُعَيْمَانِ وَسُوَيْبِطُ بْنُ حَرْمَلَةَ وَكَانَا شَهِدَا بَدْرًا وَكَانَ نُعَيْمَانُ عَلَى الزَّادِ فَقَالَ لَهُ سُوَيْبِطٌ وَكَانَ رَجُلًا مَزَّاحًا أَطْعِمْنِي قَالَ حَتَّى يَجِيءَ صَاحِبُكَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

✧ Abu Bakr went out on a trade journey to Busra one year before the death of the Prophet ﷺ, and with him were Nu'ayman and Suwaybit b. Harmalah, both of whom had been present at Badr. Nu'ayman was in charge of the provisions. Suwaybit, who was a humorous man, said to him, “Feed me.” He said, “Until your companion comes.” Then he mentioned the rest of the hadith.
