حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَا ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ثنا هُرَيْمُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ مَوْلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ
لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قُولِي عِنْدَ أَذَانِ الْمَغْرِبِ اللهُمَّ عِنْدَ إِقْبَالِ لَيْلِكَ وَإِدْبَارِ نَهَارِكَ وَأَصْوَاتِ دُعَائِكَ وَحُضُورِ صَلَوَاتِكَ اغْفِرْ لِي وَكَانَتْ إِذَا تَعَارَتْ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ تَقُولُ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَاهْدِ السَّبِيلَ الْأَقْوَمَ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said to me: “Say at the Maghrib call to prayer: O God, at the approach of Your night and the departure of Your day, at the voices of Your callers and the presence of Your prayers, forgive me.” And when she woke during the night, she would say: “Lord, forgive, have mercy, and guide to the straightest path.”
