حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَوْنٍ قَالَ أَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ شَدَّادِ بْنِ الْهَادِ قَالَ
أَرْسَلَنِي مَرْوَانُ إِلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ فَسَأَلْتُهَا فَقَالَتْ «أَتَانِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَقَدْ تَوَضَّأَ فَنَاوَلْتُهُ عَرْقًا أَوْ كَتِفًا فَأَكَلَ ثُمَّ قَامَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»

✧ Marwan sent me to Umm Salamah, and I asked her. She said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to me after performing ablution, and I handed him a bone or a shoulder. He ate, then stood up for prayer and did not perform ablution."
