حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ لَيْثٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ
أَنَّهَا لَبِسَتْ قِلَادَةً فِيهَا شُعَيْرَاتٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَرَآهَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَكَرِهَهَا فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهَا فَنَزَعَتْهَا فَقَالَ «مَا يُؤْمِنُكِ أَنْ يُقَلِّدَكِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مَكَانَهَا شَعَرَاتٍ مِنْ نَارٍ»

✧ She wore a necklace containing small hairs of gold, and the Prophet ﷺ saw it and disliked it, so he turned away from her. She then removed it, and he said: "What assures you that on the Day of Resurrection He will not make you wear in its place hairs of fire?"
