حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ ثنا عُثْمَانُ ثنا عَبْدَةُ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ
أَنَّهَا ذَكَرَتْ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ ذُيُولَ النِّسَاءِ فَقَالَ «تُرْخِينَ شِبْرًا» قُلْتُ إِذَنْ تَنْكَشِفُ عَنْهُنَّ قَالَ «فَذِرَاعٌ لَا يَزِدْنَ عَلَيْهِ»

✧ She mentioned to the Prophet ﷺ the hems of women's garments. He said, "Let them lower it by a handspan." I said, "Then their ankles would be uncovered." He said, "Then a cubit, and they should not add to that."
