حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ
سَأَلَتِ امْرَأَةٌ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ إِنِّي أُسْتَحَاضُ فَلَا أَطْهُرُ أَفَأَدَعُ الصَّلَاةَ؟ قَالَ «لَا وَلَكِنْ دَعِي قَدْرَ الْأَيَّامِ وَاللَّيَالِيَ الَّتِي كُنْتِ تَحِيضِينَ فِيهَا ثُمَّ اغْتَسِلِي وَاسْتَثْفِرِي بِثَوْبٍ وَصَلِّي»

✧ A woman asked the Prophet ﷺ, saying, "I have istihadah and do not become pure. Should I abandon prayer?" He said, "No, but leave [prayer for] the number of days and nights in which you used to menstruate, then bathe, fasten a cloth, and pray."
