حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ
«لَمْ أَرَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ صَلَّاهَا قَطُّ إِلَّا مَرَّةً وَجَاءَهُ نَاسٌ بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ فَشَغَلُوهُ حَتَّى نَسِيَ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ شَيْئًا حَتَّى صَلَّى الْعَصْرَ فَلَمَّا صَلَّى الْعَصْرَ دَخَلَ بَيْتِي فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ»

✧ I never saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray after 'Asr at all except once. Some people came to him after Zuhr and kept him busy until he forgot, and he did not pray anything after Zuhr until he prayed 'Asr. When he had prayed 'Asr, he entered my house and prayed two rak'ahs.
