حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ
كُنْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي لِحَافِهِ فَحِضْتُ فَانْسَلَلْتُ مِنْهُ فَقَالَ «مَالَكِ أَنُفِسْتِ؟» يَعْنِي الْحَيْضَةَ قُلْتُ نَعَمْ قَالَتْ فَشَدَدْتُ عَلَيَّ ثِيَابَ حَيْضَتِي ثُمَّ رَجَعْتُ فَاضْطَجَعْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

✧ I was with the Prophet ﷺ under his blanket when I got my menses, so I slipped away from him. He said, "What is the matter with you? Have you started your menses?" meaning menstruation. I said, "Yes." She said: So I tied my menstrual garments tightly around me, then returned and lay down with the Prophet ﷺ.
