✧ The Sermon of Aisha

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ قَالَ ثنا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ثنا أَبَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ثنا عَاصِمٌ عَنْ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ سَوَاءٍ عَنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْقُدَ يَضَعُ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى تَحْتَ خَدِّهِ الْأَيْمَنِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ قِنِي عَذَابَكَ يَوْمَ تَبْعَثُ عِبَادَكَ»

✧ When the Messenger of God ﷺ wanted to sleep, he would place his right hand under his right cheek and then say, "O God, protect me from Your punishment on the day You resurrect Your servants."
