حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أُمِّ مُبَشِّرٍ عَنْ حَفْصَةَ قَالَتْ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنِّي لَأَرْجُو أَنْ لَا يَدْخُلَ النَّارَ أَحَدٌ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ مِمَّنْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا وَالْحُدَيْبِيَةَ» قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَلَيْسَ قَدْ قَالَ اللهُ {وَإِنْ مِنْكُمْ إِلَّا وَارِدُهَا كَانَ عَلَى رَبِّكَ حَتْمًا مَقْضِيًّا} قَالَ أَوَلَمْ تَسْمَعِيهِ يَقُولُ {ثُمَّ نُنَجِّي الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا وَنَذَرُ الظَّالِمِينَ فِيهَا جِثِيًّا} ؟

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said, “I hope that no one who witnessed Badr and al-Ḥudaybiyyah will enter the Fire, if God wills.” I said, “O Messenger of God, has not God said, {And there is none of you but will come to it; this is, upon your Lord, an inevitability decreed}?” He said, “Have you not heard Him say, {Then We shall save those who were God-fearing, and leave the wrongdoers in it on their knees}?”
