حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُسَامَةَ الْحَلَبِيُّ ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ الرُّصَافِيُّ ثنا جَدِّي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثنا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ ثنا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ كِلَاهُمَا عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ
أَنَّ مَرْوَانَ «كَانَ يُرْسِلُ إِلَى حَفْصَةَ يَسْأَلُهَا عَنِ الْمُصْحَفِ الَّذِي نُسِخَ مِنْهُ الْقُرْآنُ فَتَأْبَى حَفْصَةُ أَنْ تُعْطِيَهُ إِيَّاهُ فَلَمَّا دَفَنَّا حَفْصَةَ أَرْسَلَ مَرْوَانُ إِلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَرْسِلْ إِلَيَّ بِذَلِكَ الْمُصْحَفِ فَأَرْسَلَهَا إِلَيْهِ»

✧ Marwan used to send to Hafsah asking her for the mushaf from which the Quran was copied, but Hafsah refused to give it to him. When we buried Hafsah, Marwan sent to Ibn Umar: 'Send me that mushaf,' so he sent it to him.
