حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا الْمُنْذِرُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الْجَارُودِيُّ ثنا أَبِي ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ زِرٍّ عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ قَالَ

أَرَادَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يُطَلِّقَ حَفْصَةَ فَجَاءَ جِبْرِيلُ فَقَالَ لَا تُطَلِّقْهَا فَإِنَّهَا صَوَّامَةٌ قَوَّامَةٌ وَإِنَّهَا زَوْجَتُكَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ intended to divorce Hafsah, but Gabriel came and said, “Do not divorce her, for she fasts much and prays much, and she will be your wife in Paradise.”
