حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عِنْدَهَا فِي يَوْمِ فِطْرٍ أَوْ أَضْحًى وَعِنْدَهَا قَيْنَتَانِ تُغَنِّيَانِ فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مِزْمَارُ الشَّيْطَانِ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «دَعْنَا يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ إِنَّ لِكُلِّ قَوْمٍ عِيدًا وَإِنَّ عِيدُنَا هَذَا الْيَوْمُ»

✧ Abu Bakr entered upon her while the Messenger of God ﷺ was with her on the day of Fitr or Adha, and two slave-girls were with her singing. Abu Bakr said: "The pipe of Satan?" The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "Leave us, O Abu Bakr, for every people has a festival, and our festival is this day."
