✧ The Prophet's carrying of Aisha to see the Abyssinians' play

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

«وَضَعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ ذَقْنِي عَلَى مَنْكِبِهِ لِأَنْظُرَ إِلَى رَمْيِ الْحَبَشَةِ حَتَّى كُنْتُ أَنَا الَّذِي أَنْصَرِفُ عَنْهُمْ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ placed my chin on his shoulder so that I could look at the Abyssinians' spear play, until I was the one who turned away from them.
