حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْغَنِيِّ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الثَّقَفِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَعَنْ مُقَاتِلِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ مُزَاحِمٍ

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ {وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ اللهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ} «يُرِيدُ فَلَوْلَا مَا تَفْضَلَّ اللهُ بِهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَسَتَرَكُمْ» {لَمَسَّكُمْ فِيمَا أَفَضْتُمْ فِيهِ} «يُرِيدُ مِنَ الْكَذِبِ» {عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ} «يُرِيدُ لَا انْقِطَاعَ لَهُ»

✧ From Ibn Abbas: "{And if it had not been for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy in this world and the Hereafter} meaning: had it not been for what Allah graciously bestowed upon you and concealed you with, {a great punishment would have touched you for what you plunged into} meaning: from the lie. {A great punishment} meaning: one without end."
