✧ The story of Tayammum, and how it happened because of Aisha.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى بْنِ شَيْبَةَ الْمِصْرِيُّ قَالَ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْأُمَوِيُّ قَالَ ثنا أَبِي عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

«دَعَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلِيًّا وَأُسَامَةَ فَاسْتَشَارَهُمَا» فَأَمَّا أُسَامَةُ فَقَالَ خَيْرًا وَقَالَ أَهْلُكَ وَلَا نَعْلَمُ إِلَّا خَيْرًا وَهَذَا الْبَاطِلُ وَالْكَذِبُ وَأَمَّا عَلِيٌّ فَقَالَ إِنَّ النِّسَاءَ لَكَثِيرٌ وَإِنَّكَ لَقَادِرٌ أَنْ تَسْتَخْرِجَ وَتَسْأَلَ الْجَارِيَةَ فَإِنَّهَا سَتَصْدُقُ وَذَكَرَ حَدِيثَ الْإِفْكِ

✧ «The Messenger of God ﷺ summoned Ali and Usama and consulted them.» As for Usama, he spoke well and said, "Your family, and we know nothing but good; this is falsehood and lying." As for Ali, he said, "Women are many, and you are able to seek out and ask the young woman, for she will tell the truth." And he mentioned the Hadith of the Ifk.
