حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ حَدَّثَنَا الزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَسَنٍ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ السَّكَنِ قَالَتْ
أَنَا قَيَّنْتُ عَائِشَةَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ حَتَّى أَدْخَلْتُهَا عَلَيْهِ فَلَمَّا دَخَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ أُتِينَا بِحِلَابٍ مِنْ لَبَنٍ فَشَرِبَ مِنْهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ ثُمَّ نَاوَلَهُ عَائِشَةَ فَأَعْرَضَتْ فَقُلْتُ خُذِي مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَخَذَتْ مِنْهُ فَشَرِبَتْ ثُمَّ نَاوَلَتْنِي فَشَرِبْتُ فَجَعَلْتُ أُدِيرُ الْإِنَاءَ لِأَنْ أُصَادِفَ الْمَوْضِعَ الَّذِي شَرِبَ مِنْهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ثُمَّ نَاوَلْتُهُ امْرَأَةً مَعِي فَقَالَتْ لَا أَشْتَهِيهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا تَجْمَعِي كَذِبًا وَجُوعًا»

✧ I adorned Aishah for the Prophet ﷺ until I brought her in to him. When she entered upon him, we were brought a vessel of milk, and the Prophet ﷺ drank from it, then handed it to Aishah. She turned away, so I said, "Take it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." She took it and drank, then handed it to me and I drank. I began rotating the vessel so that I might find the spot from which the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had drunk. Then I handed it to a woman with me, and she said, "I do not desire it." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not combine lying and hunger."
