al-Mu'jam al-Kabir (al-Tabarani) 19368

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِلَالٍ عَنِ ابْنِ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ الزُّرَقِيِّ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا قَتَادَةَ يَقُولُ «بَيْنَا نَحْنُ جُلُوسٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ نَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلَاةَ خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ بِنْتُ بِنْتِهِ أُمَامَةَ بِنْتِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ وَأُمُّهَا زَيْنَبُ يَحْمِلُهَا عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ يُكَبِّرُ وَهِيَ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ فَإِذَا رَكَعَ وَضَعَهَا بِالْأَرْضِ وَإِذَا قَامَ أَعَادَهَا عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ حَتَّى قَضَى صَلَاتَهُ وَهُوَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ»

✧ He heard Abu Qatadah say: "While we were sitting in the mosque waiting for the prayer, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us carrying his daughter's daughter Umamah bint Abi al-‘As b. al-Rabi‘ on his shoulder—her mother was Zaynab. He was carrying her on his shoulder, saying the takbir while she was on his shoulder. When he bowed he placed her on the ground, and when he stood he returned her to his shoulder until he finished his prayer, doing that."
