al-Mu'jam al-Kabir (al-Tabarani) 19367

✧ Umm Kulthum bt. Rasul Allah ﷺ passed away during his lifetime.

حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ ح وحَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ حَفْصٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ثنا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ الزُّرَقِيِّ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا قَتَادَةَ يَقُولُ «بَيْنَا نَحْنُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ جُلُوسٌ خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَحْمِلُ أُمَامَةَ بِنْتَ أَبِي الْعَاصِ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ فَصَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَهِيَ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ إِذَا قَامَ حَتَّى قَضَى صَلَاتَهَ»

✧ He heard Abu Qatadah saying, "While we were sitting in the mosque, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us carrying Umamah, the daughter of Abu Al-As, on his shoulder. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed while she was on his shoulder, and when he prostrated, he put her down until he finished his prayer."
