حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ح وحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا مِنْجَابُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ قَالَا ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

قُلْتُ لِفَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ رَأَيْتُكِ أَكْبَبْتِ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي مَرَضِهِ فَبَكَيْتِ ثُمَّ أَكْبَبْتُ عَلَيْهِ ثَانِيَةً فَضَحِكَتِ قَالَتْ أَكْبَبْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَأَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّهُ مَيِّتٌ فَبَكَيْتُ ثُمَّ أَكْبَبْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَأَخْبَرَنِي أَنِّي أَوَّلُ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ لُحُوقًا بِهِ وَأَنِّي سَيِّدَةُ نِسَاءِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ إِلَّا مَا كَانَ مِنْ مَرْيَمَ بِنْتِ عِمْرَانَ فَضَحِكَتُ

✧ I said to Fatimah daughter of the Messenger of God ﷺ: “I saw you lean over the Prophet ﷺ during his illness and weep, then lean over him a second time and laugh.” She said: “I leaned over him and he told me that he was dying, so I wept. Then I leaned over him and he told me that I am the first of his household to join him and that I am the mistress of the women of the people of Paradise except what there is of Maryam daughter of ‘Imran, so I laughed.”
