✧ I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say one day when the month of Ramadan had begun: "If the servants knew what is in the month of Ramadan, the servants would wish that the month of Ramadan were a whole year." A man from Khuza'ah said: "O Messenger of God, tell us." The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "Paradise is adorned for the month of Ramadan from the beginning of the year to the beginning of the year, until when it is the first night, a wind blows from beneath the Throne and rustles the leaves of the trees of Paradise. The wide-eyed houris look at that and say: 'O Lord, make for us from Your servants in this month spouses by whom our eyes will be delighted and their eyes will be delighted by us.' There is no servant who fasts the month of Ramadan except that God marries him to a wife each day from the wide-eyed houris confined in pavilions. Upon each woman among them are seventy garments, no garment of the same color as another, and she is given seventy kinds of perfume, no kind resembling another. Each woman among them is on a couch of ruby studded with pearls, on seventy beds whose linings are of rich brocade, and above the seventy beds are seventy canopied couches. For each woman among them are seventy servant boys to serve her and seventy servant boys to receive her, and with each servant boy is a platter of gold containing a kind of food, the last of which he finds the same pleasure as the first. Her husband is given the like of that on a couch of red ruby, upon him are two bracelets of gold studded with red ruby. This is for every day he fasted from the month of Ramadan, besides the good deeds he has done."
