حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمَعْمَرِيُّ ثنا أَيُّوبَ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَزَّانُ الرَّقِّيُّ ثنا هَارُونُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي قَيْسٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ لُدَيْنٍ عَنْ أَبِي لَيْلَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «تَمَسَّكُوا بِطَاعَةِ أَئِمَّتِكُمْ وَلَا تُخَالِفُوهُمْ فَإِنَّ طَاعَتَهُمْ طَاعَةُ اللهِ وَإِنَّ مَعْصِيتَهُمْ مَعْصِيَةُ اللهِ فَإِنَّ اللهَ بَعَثَنِي أَدْعُو إِلَى سَبِيلِهِ بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَالْمَوْعِظَةِ الْحَسَنَةِ فَمَنْ خَلَفَنِي فِي ذَلِكَ فَهُوَ مِنِّي وَأَنَا مِنْهُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Hold fast to obedience to your leaders and do not oppose them, for obedience to them is obedience to Allah, and disobedience to them is disobedience to Allah. Allah sent me to call to His way with wisdom and good exhortation. Whoever succeeds me in that is from me, and I am from him.”
