حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ النَّحْوِيُّ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْكِنْدِيِّ مَوْلَى جَرِيرٍ عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ جَابِرٍ الصَّدَفِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «سَيَكُونُ مِنْ بَعْدِي خُلَفَاءُ وَمِنْ بَعْدِ الْخُلَفَاءِ أُمَرَاءُ وَمِنْ بَعْدِ الْأُمَرَاءِ مُلُوكٌ وَمِنْ بَعْدِ الْمُلُوكِ جَبَابِرَةٌ ثُمَّ يَخْرُجُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي يَمْلَأُ الْأَرْضَ عَدْلًا كَمَا مُلِئَتْ جَوْرًا ثُمَّ يُؤَمَّرُ الْقَحْطَانِيُّ فَوَالَّذِي بَعَثَنِي بِالْحَقِّ مَا هُوَ دُونَهُ»

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “There will be after me successors (khulafaʾ), and after the successors commanders (umaraʾ), and after the commanders kings (muluk), and after the kings tyrants (jababirah). Then a man from my household will emerge and fill the earth with justice as it was filled with injustice. Then al-Qahtani will be given authority. By the One who sent me with the truth, he will not be less than him.”
