✧ The Prophet ﷺ once prayed and entered his house, and amongst the people was a man with long hands who the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to call "Dhu al-Yadayn" (the one with two hands). Dhu al-Yadayn said, "O Messenger of Allah, did the prayer become shorter or did you forget?" The Prophet ﷺ replied, "It did not become shorter nor did I forget." He said, "But you forgot the prayer." The Prophet ﷺ then advanced and prayed two Rak'ahs with them, then he made the salutation and pronounced the Takbeer and prostrated like his first prostration, or even longer. Then he pronounced the Takbeer and raised his head, then he pronounced the Takbeer and prostrated like his first prostration, or even longer. Then he pronounced the Takbeer and raised his head, and Muhammad did not preserve the salutation afterwards, or not?"
