حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا وَكِيعٌ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ عَنْ أَبِي كَبْشَةَ الْأَنْمَارِيِّ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَثَلُ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ مَثَلُ أَرْبَعَةِ رَجُلٍ آتَاهُ اللهُ مَالًا وَعِلْمًا فَهُوَ يَعْمَلُ بِعِلْمِهِ يُنْفِقُهُ فِي حَقَّهِ وَرَجُلٌ آتَاهُ اللهُ عِلْمًا وَلَمْ يُؤْتِهِ مَالًا فَهُوَ يَقُولُ لَوْ كَانَ لِي مثْلُ مَالِ هَذَا عَمِلْتُ فِيهِ بِالَّذِي يَعْمَلُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ هُمَا فِي الْأَجْرِ سَوَاءٌ وَرَجُلٌ آتَاهُ اللهُ مَالًا وَلَمْ يُؤْتِهِ عِلْمًا فَهُوَ يَخْبِطُ فِي مَالِهِ يُنْفِقُهُ فِي غَيْرِ حَقِّهِ وَرَجُلٌ لَمْ يُؤْتِهِ اللهُ عِلْمًا وَلَا مَالًا فَهُوَ يَقُولُ لَوْ كَانَ لِي مِثْلُ مَالِ فُلَانٍ عَمِلْتُ فِيهِ مِثْلَ الَّذِي يَعْمَلُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «فَهُمَا فِي الْوِزْرِ سَوَاءٌ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The example of this community is like four people: a man whom Allah gave wealth and knowledge, and he acts on his knowledge, spending it in its right; and a man whom Allah gave knowledge but not wealth, and he says, ‘If I had wealth like this man’s, I would do with it as he does.’ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘They are equal in reward.’ And a man whom Allah gave wealth but not knowledge, and he blunders through his wealth, spending it in other than its right; and a man whom Allah gave neither knowledge nor wealth, and he says, ‘If I had wealth like so-and-so’s, I would do with it as he does.’ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘They are equal in sin.’”
