حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَلُولٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُقْرِئُ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا إِدْرِيسُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْعَطَّارُ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَا أَنَا كَهْمَسُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ثنا بَكْرُ بْنُ حِمْدَانَ ثنا كَهْمَسُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَيَّارِ بْنِ مَنْظُورٍ عَنْ بُهَيْسَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهَا قَالَ

أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَدَخَلْتُ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ قَمِيصِهِ فَالْتَزَمْتُهُ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا الشَّيْءُ الَّذِي لَا يَحِلُّ مَنْعُهُ؟ قَالَ «الْمَاءُ» قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا الشَّيْءُ الَّذِي لَا يَحِلُّ مَنْعُهُ؟ قَالَ «الْمِلْحُ» قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا الشَّيْءُ الَّذِي لَا يَحِلُّ مَنْعُهُ؟ قَالَ «إِنْ تَفْعَلْ خَيْرًا فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَكَ»

✧ I went to the Prophet ﷺ, then I entered between him and his garment and held onto it. I said, "O Messenger of Allah, what is the thing that it is not permissible to prevent?" He said, "Water." I said, "O Messenger of Allah, what is the thing that it is not permissible to prevent?" He said, "Salt." I said, "O Messenger of Allah, what is the thing that it is not permissible to prevent?" He said, "If you do good, it will be good for you."
