حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الْمُؤَدِّبُ ثنا عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ أَنَا عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ مُرَّةَ

أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَبِهِ صُفْرَةٌ مِنْ زَعْفَرَانٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ اغْسِلْ هَذَا عَنْكَ ثُمَّ اغْسِلْهُ ثُمَّ لَا تَعُدْ قَالَ فَغَسَلَهُ وَلَمْ يَعُدْ

Translation

✧ He came to the Prophet ﷺ with a yellow stain of saffron on him. The Prophet ﷺ said to him, “Wash this off yourself, then wash it, then do not do it again.” He said: So he washed it and did not do it again.
