✧ Yazid b. Muawiya al-Tamimi, the ally of Bani Nawfal b. Abd Manaf, and he is Yazid b. Muawiya b. Abi Ubaydah b. Hammam b. al-Harith b. Bakr b. Zaid b. Malik b. Zayd b. Manat b. Tamim, and his mother is Muniyah bt. Ghazwan al-Sulamiyah, the sister of Uthbah b. Ghazwan. Asnad Yazid b. Muawiya Safwan b. Yazid, from his father.

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ السِّرَاجُ الْقَاضِي ثَنَا السَّكَنُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقَاضِي ثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ ثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ قَيْسَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَعْلَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

أَتَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بِالْجِعْرَانَةِ رَجُلٌ وَعَلَيْهِ جُبَّةٌ وَهُو مُصْفَرٌ لِحْيَتُهُ وَرَأْسُهُ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي أَحْرَمْتُ وَأَنَا كَمَا تَرَى قَالَ اغْسِلْ عَنْكَ الصُّفْرَةَ وَأنْزَعُ عَنْكَ الْجُبَّةَ وَمَا كُنْتَ صَانِعًا فِي حَجَّتِكَ فَاصْنَعْهُ فِي عُمْرَتِكَ

✧ A man came to the Messenger of God ﷺ at al-Ji'ranah wearing a jubbah, with his beard and head dyed yellow. He said: "O Messenger of God, I have entered ihram while I am as you see." He said: "Wash off the yellow dye, remove the jubbah, and whatever you would do in your hajj, do it in your 'umrah."
