حَدَّثَنَا طَالِبُ بْنُ قُرَّةَ الْأَذَنِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى الطَّبَّاعُ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي سُرَيْجُ بْنُ يُونُسَ قَالَا ثنا هُشَيْمٌ أنا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَبِي أَسْمَاءِ الرَّحَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي ثَعْلَبَةَ قَالَ

سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ إِنَّا نَحْتَاجُ إِلَى آنِيَةِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ فِي أَسْفَارِنَا فَنَطْبُخُ فِيهَا وَنَشْرَبُ فِيهَا فَقَالَ «اغْسِلُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ ثُمَّ اطْبُخُوا فِيهَا وَاشْرَبُوا»

✧ I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, saying: "We need the vessels of the polytheists on our journeys, and we cook in them and drink from them." He said: "Wash them with water, then cook in them and drink."
