حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا هَوْبَرُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ هَبَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ
زَوَّجَ هَبَّارٌ ابْنَتَهُ فَضَرَبَ فِي عُرْسِهَا بِالْكِيرِ وَالْغِرْبَالِ فَسَمِعَ ذَلِكَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «مَا هَذَا؟» قَالُوا زَفَّ هَبَّارُ ابْنَتَهُ فَضَرَبَ فِي عُرْسِهَا بِالْكِيرِ وَالْغِرْبَالِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أشيدوا النِّكَاحَ أشيدوا النِّكَاحَ هَذَا نِكَاحٌ لَا سفاحٌ»

✧ Habbar married off his daughter, and at her wedding he beat the bellows and the sieve. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard that and said: "What is this?" They said: Habbar married off his daughter, and at her wedding he beat the bellows and the sieve. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Proclaim the marriage, proclaim the marriage. This is marriage, not fornication."
