حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الْأَحْمَرُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ فُضَيْلِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي الْعَوْجَاءِ عَنْ أَبِي شُرَيْحٍ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ أُصِيبَ بِدَمٍ أَوْ خَبْلٍ وَالْخَبْلُ الْجُرْحُ فَهُوَ بِالْخِيَارِ بَيْنَ إِحْدَى ثَلَاثٍ فَإِنْ أَرَادَ الرَّابِعَةَ فَخُذُوا عَلَى يَدَيْهِ أَنْ يَقْتُلَ أَنْ يَعْفُوَ أَوْ يَأْخُذَ الدِّيَةَ فَمَنْ فَعَلَ شَيْئًا مِنْ ذَلِكَ فَعَادَ فِيهِ فَإِنَّ لَهُ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدًا مُخَلَّدًا فِيهَا أَبَدًا

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: Whoever is afflicted by bloodshed or injury—and injury means wounding—then he has the choice among one of three options. If he desires a fourth, then restrain him: to kill, to pardon, or to take blood money. Whoever does any of that and then transgresses again, for him is the fire of Hell, abiding eternally therein forever.
