حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ فُضَيْلِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَوْجَاءِ عَنْ أَبِي شُرَيْحٍ الْخُزَاعِيِّ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ أُصِيبَ بِقَتْلٍ أَوْ خَبْلٍ فَإِنَّهُ يَخْتَارُ إِحْدَى ثَلَاثٍ إِمَّا أَنْ يَقْبِضَ أَوْ يَعْفُوَ أَوْ يَأْخُذَ الدِّيَةَ فَإِنْ أَخَذَ الدِّيَةَ فَخُذُوا عَلَى يَدَيْهِ فَإِنِ اعْتَدَى بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَلَهُ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever is afflicted with a killing or injury, he may choose one of three: to take retaliation, to forgive, or to take blood money. If he takes blood money, then restrain him. If he transgresses after that, he will have the fire of Hell.'
