حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ أَبِي كَبْشَةَ ثنا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عِيسَى عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي شُرَيْحِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْخُزَاعِيِّ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِيَّاكُمْ وَالْجُلُوسَ عَلَى الصُّعُدَاتِ فَمَنْ جَلَسَ مِنْكُمُ الصُّعُدَ فَلْيُعْطِهَا حَقَّهَا» قُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَمَا حَقُّهَا؟ قَالَ «غَضُّ الْبَصَرِ وَرَدُّ التَّحِيَّةِ وَالْأَمْرُ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَالنَّهْيُ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Beware of sitting on the roads.' So we said, 'O Messenger of Allah, what is the road's right?' He said, 'Lowering the gaze, returning the greeting, enjoining good, and forbidding evil.'
