حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا هَوْبَرُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ثنا وَحْشِيٌّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ خَرَجَ لِحَاجَتِهِ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَتَرَكَ بَابَ الْبَيْتِ مَفْتُوحًا ثُمَّ رَجَعَ فَوَجَدَ إِبْلِيسَ قَائِمًا فِي وَسَطِ الْبَيْتِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «اخْسَأْ يَا خَبِيثُ مِنْ بَيْتِي» ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا خَرَجْتُمْ مِنْ بُيُوتِكُمْ بِاللَّيْلِ فَأَغْلِقُوا أَبْوَابِهَا»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ went out at night to relieve himself and left the door of the house open. When he returned, he found Iblis standing in the middle of the house. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Begone, O wicked one, from my house!" Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When you go out of your houses at night, close their doors."
