حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْأَشْعَثِيُّ ثنا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ ثنا صَالِحُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو جُحَيْفَةَ وَهْبٌ السُّوَائِيُّ قَالَ

«دَخَلْتُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَكَتَبَ لَنَا بِاثْنَيْ عَشَرَ قَلُوصًا فَلَمَّا تُوُفِّيَ مَنَعْنَاهُ النَّاسَ حَتَّى اجْتَمَعُوا»

✧ I entered upon the Prophet ﷺ, and he wrote for us an order for twelve young she-camels. When he passed away, the people withheld it from us until they assembled.
