حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

«دَنَوْتُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ بِالْأَبْطَحِ حِينَ زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ فَخَرَجَ بِلَالٌ فَأَذَّنَ بِالصَّلَاةِ»

Translation

✧ "I drew near to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was at al-Abṭaḥ when the sun had declined from its meridian. Bilāl went out and called the adhān for the prayer."
