حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ ثنا عَوْنُ بْنُ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
لَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ النَّفْرِ نَزَلْنَا بِالْأَبْطَحِ «فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِلَالًا فَنَادَى بِالصَّلَاةِ ثُمَّ أَخْرَجَ وَضُوءَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَوَثَبَ النَّاسُ عَلَيْهِ فَمِنْ بَيْنِ نَائِلٍ وَنَاضِحٍ ثُمَّ أَخْرَجَ عَنَزَةً فَرَكَزَهَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الطَّرِيقِ»

✧ On the day of departing Mina, we camped at al-Abtah. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered Bilal, and he called the prayer. Then he brought out the water for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ’s ablution, and the people rushed to it, some getting some and some sprinkling. Then he brought out a spear and fixed it between him and the road.
