حَدَّثَنَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ حَمْزَةَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ الْمُحَارِبِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ النَّصْرِيِّ عَنْ وَاثِلَةَ بْنِ الْأَسْقَعِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ أَعْظَمَ الْفِرَى أَنْ يَقُولَ عَلَى الرَّجُلِ مَا لَمْ أَقُلْ أَوْ يَدَّعِيَ إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ أَوْ يُرِيَ عَيْنَيْهِ فِي الْمَنَامِ مَا لَمْ تَرَ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Among the greatest of fabrications is that one should say about a man what I did not say, or claim descent from other than his father, or show his eyes in a dream what they did not see.”
