حَدَّثَنَا أَسْلَمُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الشَّعْثَاءِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ قَيْسٍ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ وَائِلٍ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

«صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَسَلَّمَ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ» هَكَذَا رَوَاهُ مُوسَى بْنُ قَيْسٍ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ وَائِلٍ وَزَادَ فِي السَّلَامِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

✧ “I prayed with the Messenger of God ﷺ, and he gave salutation to his right: ‘Peace be upon you and the mercy of God and His blessings,’ and to his left: ‘Peace be upon you and the mercy of God.’” Mūsā b. Qays narrated it thus from Salama, who reported from ʿAlqama b. Wāʾil, and he added in the salutation “and His blessings.”
