حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ دُحَيْمٍ ثنا أَبِي ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ وَعُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ ثنا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا الْهِقْلُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي رَبِيعَةُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ وَاثِلَةَ قَالَ
خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «تَزْعُمُونَ أَنِّي مِنْ آخِرِكُمْ وَفَاةً وَإِنِّي أَوَّلُكُمْ وَفَاةً وَتَتْبَعُونِي أَفْنَادًا يُهْلِكُ بَعْضُكُمْ بَعْضًا»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ came out to us and said, "You claim that I am among the last of you to die, but I am the first of you to die, and you will follow me in bands, destroying one another."
