حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْقَزَّازُ ثنا أَبُو عُمَرَ الْحَوْضِيُّ قَالَا ثنا هَمَّامُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جُحَادَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «كَانَ إِذَا دَخَلَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ وَكَبَّرَ ثُمَّ الْتَحَفَ بِثَوْبِهِ ثُمَّ وَضَعَ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى الْيُسْرَى فَلَمَّا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ قَالَ هَكَذَا بِثَوْبِهِ وَأخْرَجَ يَدَيْهِ ثُمَّ رَفَعَهُمَا وَكَبَّرَ وَرَكَعَ فَلَمَّا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَسْجُدَ وَقَعَتْ رُكْبَتَاهُ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ قَبْلَ كَفَّيْهِ فَلَمَّا سَجَدَ وَضَعَ جَبْهَتَهُ بَيْنَ كَفَّيْهِ وَجَافَى عَنْ إِبْطَيْهِ» قَالَ هَمَّامٌ وَأَكْبَرُ عِلْمِي أَنَّ فِي حَدِيثِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُحَادَةَ فَإِذَا نَهَضَ نَهَضَ عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ وَاعْتَمَدَ عَلَى فَخِذَيْهِ
Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ, when he entered the prayer, raised his hands and said the takbir, then wrapped himself in his garment, then placed his right hand over his left. When he wanted to bow, he did like this with his garment and brought out his hands, then raised them and said the takbir and bowed. When he wanted to prostrate, his knees fell to the ground before his palms. When he prostrated, he placed his forehead between his palms and kept his upper arms away from his sides. Hammam said: “And to the best of my knowledge, in the hadith of Muhammad b. Juhadah: when he rose, he rose upon his knees and supported himself on his thighs.”
